I have a strange issue with FMod 3.75 for mac under a Intel Mac (I had not tested under a PPC Mac). When FMod buffering the web stream, the Activity Monitor say me that FMod take 100 % of the processor. When FMod had finished the buffering and he is playing the stream, he take about 3-4% of the processor.
The buffering is not very long so it’s not a big problem. But for stream who come from server like Nicecast, FMod can’t fill the buffer to 99%, and he play the stream with a 60-70% filled buffer. So he take 100% of the processor. BUT if you put FMod in pause, the buffer will be filled to 99%, and if you put FMod again in play mode, he stay to a buffer filled to 99% and he take about 3-4% of the processor.
The test code : "netstream" given with the FMod API.
Do you have a solution ? Thanks a lot in advance.
Ps : I have not a good English, please be cool, if something is not very clear, say that to me, I will try to explain in a other manner.
