I tried to look everywhere for this, but maybe I’m not looking in the right place.

I just wanted to know what your policy was for using your dll in a commercial PC game where I use fmod to play my own created mp3 files.

how do you use fmod.dll? The game has to know about it first or is this something you are able to add via your own code? (ie a mod or something)

If it is for your own use then I guess yes, but a commercial game is not allowed to use fmod without a license if it is they who profit from it.

Hey Brett,

Yes, I’m making the game myself, but I’ll be selling it for profit. I use fmod to play my own created music for my game as well.

If it is a budget/hobbyist/shareware type game, it will be eligible for the $100 license, otherwise contact sales.
