Is there a simple way of determining wheter or not all the fsbs for the events have been loaded? There is a getState function for events that returns whether all not a event has finished loading. Do I have to check the state for all the events in the event group to know whether or not all the fsbs have been loaded?

To call getState would require a call to getEvent which does loading of fsbs aswell, if they aren’t loaded yet.

Thanks in advance.

Currently no, though I can see a need for it in some usage cases. Something along the lines of EventGroup::getState? I’ll sling it on our list but can’t give you a date right now. Very busy atm.

Thanks andrew. A getState function in EventGroup will be extremely useful.

I was just looking for the same functionality. That would be a very useful feature.

I think I have a workaround for this.

Given the group, traverse the subgroups and check all events using event::getState. If any events return that they are loading, you know that the fsbs are not loaded yet.

This can be made much faster if the programmer knows ahead of time that only one fsb will be used in that group. Then only one event needs to be found and checked.

To get an event, you need to call get event from the group and by doing so, it will cause a load of the fsb if it isn’t loaded already. You don’t want to load fsbs just to check the state of a group. The group should know if it has finished loading or has loaded in the fsbs yet.

If you call getEvent with the EVENT_INFOONLY event mode, it shouldn’t load the data for the event. Then you should be able to tell if it has loaded. I think.
