I’m trying to set up an event that plays multiple crossfading oneshot sounds in a loop. I’m having trouble making this work properly, because the velocity and ruler measures in parameter properties don’t seem to work in the way I would expect. If I set ruler spacing to 1, velocity to 1 unit per second and Range max value to 10, then I would expect it to take 10 seconds for the playhead to travel from the start of the event to the end, but this is not what happens – instead, the playhead zips across the event in 1 second. However, if I set the velocity to 0.1, the playhead takes 10 seconds to travel from left to right. Should the maximum value in range affect the playback rate?

Yes it should, and i have noticed this before, but for now you’ll have to divide the velocity by your range to get the expected result.

ok – will do. :) Won’t this cause a lot of data to be wrong when this gets fixed?

Probably not. If we change it, old files will scale up to the new scale. (we can use file version numbers)
