I’m trying to get FMOD Ex to compile using the MSVC++ Toolkit and Code::Blocks and I’m getting some linking errors:

[code:pfa3y9k6]error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _FMOD_System_Create referenced in function "enum FMOD_RESULT __cdecl FMOD::System_Create(class FMOD::System * *)" (?System_Create@FMOD@@YA?AW4FMOD_RESULT@@PAPAVSystem@1@@Z)
error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: enum FMOD_RESULT __thiscall FMOD::System::init(int,unsigned int,void *)" (?init@System@FMOD@@QAE?AW4FMOD_RESULT@@HIPAX@Z) referenced in function "private: __thiscall SoundModule::SoundModule(void)" (??0SoundModule@@AAE@XZ)
[/code:pfa3y9k6]

I linked to fmodex_vc.lib. Anyone had any luck with working with Code::Blocks and MSVC++ Toolkit 2003?

Thanks.

That just looks to me like you havent linked to fmod_vc.lib?

Now maybe I’m just really confused and missed a giant step somewhere; there’s a file called fmod_vc.lib? I’ve linked to fmodex_vc.lib, but I can’t find any fmod_vc.lib anywhere in the FMOD Ex API.

Thanks for the help.

Hmm… Are there any other suggestions for how I can get it to work? Or should I just use the C interface?
