Hi @ All !

How can i fade out the voices of a music track ?

I’ve got a Tool, called ‘MSI Sound Manager’ which provides an option to toggle the voices (=singing) of the current track.

Do i have this possibility in FMod Ex too ? If yes, how (C++, Win32, FModEx) ?

thX in advance!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

As far as I know there’s no "magic" function in fmod to do that. And there’s no "magic" method at all. You’ll have to do some reading about that issue, but it’s basically playing around with different equalizer settings, comparing left and right channel etc.

Convert all the individual voices (and music) into one interleaved FSB file and then use Channel::setSpeakerLevels to set the volumes of the channels independently.

Conversion is done offline. Probably I missed something, but don’t you have a pre-recorded music with more sound/singing tracks, and you have to switch some of it on/off?

oh sry, i forgot to mention that… ๐Ÿ˜ณ i am writing a media player…and it should
be a optional to toggle the voices of the current playing track. So it must be
during the runtime  .
