I’m new to fmod and I’m sorry if this is already posted in the newsgroup (can’t find it).
I’d like to play a sequence of sounds in a certain way and I don’t know yet what is the best way with fmod. Basically the sound (imagine a blower sound) is cut in sevral pieces, and the sound can be played corresponding to 2 levels: high (louder) or low (quieter).
The sound samples are (in a typical sequence):
off_to_low (played when the power is applied)
low_loop (played continuously as long as the blower is in LOW mode)
low_to_high (played when the selector goes to HIGH mode)
high_loop (played continusouly as long as the blower is in HIGH mode)
high_to_low (played when the selector goes back to LOW mode)
how the best I can use fmod to play the sound loops from variable "selector mode" and then play the "ramp up or down" sounds during a mode change, gapless?
