Is there anyway to have some global headroom in FMOD?

Looks like we are getting some kind of clipping/saturation when we want to use more than 64 channels on the PS3. Also we have some particular stereo files which would sound flanged/phased out if we play them at full volume.

It could be the PS3 libaudio/libmixer? libraries at fault, or something in the downmixing.

Temporary we fixed it by introducing 12db headroom, by making all our volumes 4 times quiter.

It could be, if you’re using an older version of the fmod library. Note in v31 revision.txt
