Is there a way to append (compressed) data to the current playback?

Currently i call FSOUND_Stream_Play multiple times in a row with different parts of the sound/stream as soon as it has played back the last byte. The problem is that there’s no seamless transition between the single parts. Is it possible to append it to the current playback buffer without calling the FSOUND_Stream_Play function again? Does FSOUND_STREAMABLE have any effects to compressed playback?
