I have tried the doppler effect with the audition 3D tool, but the effect is not realistic: the sound sharpens when the emitter goes faster but it should become grave when it goes away. So the doppler effect only depends on emitter’s velocity.
I’m wrong? I’m not using it correctly? Or Fmod’s doppler effect has this limitation?
I’m worried because I’m making a starship game and the doppler effect is essential.
