I’m getting inconsistent behavior using a wav file with a sustaining loop that loops back to the middle of the file. I set up the event in the designer tool, change the sound instance properties to "Loop and Play to end". When I play the event in the tool, it works correctly: the loop goes back to the middle of the file where the beginning of the sustaining loop is located. If I build the event file and load it into the event player, it loops the entire file during playback. I built this particular one using ADPCM as the compression type. So, it seems like an event built using ADPCM doesn’t register sustaining loops properly. Am I missing some other setting? Thanks…

I just tried this and loops present in the source wav work fine when built into an ADPCM bank. Can you send me an example that doesn’t work? Please include a .fdp, .fev, .fsb and the original .wav. Thanks.
