Hello All!

Go easy I’m new!

A couple of friends and i have written some VB6 code to control some L.E.D. Lighting and I want to add sound control but i am totally lost in how to do it. What i am looking for is someone that would be willing to look at my project and that may be interested in making it work for me! I know that probably sounds like i am wanting someone to do it all for me but that is not true, i am just at a total loss at doing the programming for sound control. I know i am not posting any real info on the project but i have just switched computers and i have nothing on this one yet. I guess i am looking for someone that would be interested first then we could go from there!

Any help or someone’s time is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

I got one test program (vb6) that shows a simple spectrum using the current recording device (low sound quality due record+playback at once).
This program was designed for one-time usage, and is more a example than a real application.

Another anhanced project is a media player (GUI) using fmod/fmodex, which also supports a keyboard LED spectrum / … (also VB6, but actual fmod/fmodex stuff has moved to a seperate layer dll file with the latest versions: http://www.ctuser.net/products/qplayer )

You can also check the examples included with the API.
