Hi,
I came across FmodEx, and the feature list is incredible. Tried to use it in Linux, but this OS does not seem to have any priority at all. Building the samples quits with errors, i.e. the Makefiles are broken. (It stops at the useplugins example.) Also, I saw this thread http://52.88.2.202/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6988 which is consistently ignored. Now if this means that the days of FmodEx Linux are numbered, I’ll move on to something else before coding a lot of stuff with this library. I would appreciate feedback about this topic.

That topic was written on the 23rd of december, and most people are away for xmas holidays, i think you’re jumping to conclusions a LITTLE bit fast there, we have someone actively maintaining the linux branch and as far as I know it is working fine.
When you have problems with ALSA it is usually alsa’s fault, not fmod’s but we’ll look into it but alsa works fine here. If you want faster support you’re supposed to write to support@fmod.org not post here.
