I am getting distortion and sounds dropping out on debug builds on Xbox and all builds on PC. By dropped sounds, I mean that we have an event with two sounds and only one of them plays sometimes. We are getting no errors. This only happens when we approach the memory limit of the buffer we pass to FMOD. We alot 32 MB and are using about 31 MB. Has anyone experienced this? If we were out of memory I would expect a memory error. Some of the distorted sounds are streamed so I guess they could be starved if the frame rate drops but that doesn’t explain the non-streamed distortion and dropped sounds. Or does it?

Any ideas?
