I have an event with the primary parameter set to loop, with multiple oneshot sounddefs on the timeline. Although the sound def used is set to RandomNoRepeats, repeats are clearly audible in the tool, and in the exported banks within out title. I’ve created a simple project that repros this issue – where should I upload to?

Looks to me like it is treating each sound definition instance in the event layer as independent sounds and not related to each other, so the behaviour there it is exhibiting is not abnormal, but I can see what you mean and it should probably share the same random info for all instances of the sound definition and not keep it separate for each instance.

You dont need the velocity on the parameter, you can see it just by moving the cursor back and forwards, and notice if you just play 1 sound def instance only it never repeats.

ok – I see what you mean. I definitely think it should share random info for all instances of the sound definition. I’m hearing individual events repeat all the time in our game as well, and I think it’s due to the same thing.
