We currently use Fmod to play streamed .mp3s. In order to avoid the MissingMethodException raised by FMod_Init, we’ve had to move the initialize call earlier and earlier during startup as the system evolved.
Now, when we try to play a simple sample from a valid handle returned from Fmod_Load, i.e., channel = Fmod_PlaySound(FMod_Free, sampleHandle), we get an errAlloc error message: unable to allocate a new channel.
Has any one encountered anything similar? Am I reaching some sort of memory threshold?
Can someone direct me to how to troubleshoot this issue.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
