Does anyone know if there are any restrictions involving the playing of a 2D sound through a DSP?
I know doppler won’t have any effect, but are there any issues with DSPs?
do you mean dsp you add yourself? There is no difference between a 2d and 3d sound at that point. doppler is not a dsp effect, it is just a modification of setFrequency that scales the pitch of the sound.
The ones you can set up yourself, yes.
You create a channel group and then associate a DSP to it.
If i’m right, you can affect a 2D sound with the DSP (I assume it doesn’t matter if it is streaming or pre loaded)
That’s correct it doesnt matter what type of sound it is as long as it is not hardware.
It could even be a multichannel .mid file.
