Hey all,

Working on our audio engine here, and getting some strange behavior. System.CreateSound is returning an ERR_FORMAT on loading wav and aiff files with the FMOD.MODE._3D flag, whereas the same call being passed an ogg file works, returning result OK. I’m a bit confused by this, and don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you looked at any of the examples? I think nearly all of them load wav files without any problems.

I’ve looked at the examples, and they all run fine (the ones in the csharpexamples folder). I’m really confused as to why only OGGs play and not AIFFs or WAVs; these sounds play when FMOD is initialized with FMOD.MODE.DEFAULT, but not with FMOD.MODE._3D. I’ve worked with FMOD in a C/C++ environment before and never had this issue.

That probably doesn’t clarify the issue, sorry :(…wish I had more info to give you.
