Hi, I am using fmod with a digi002. I am only getting a stereo signal from fmod when the event is defined as "3d". I am getting 5.1 when using Protools, Nuendo, Logic etc. Thanks, Peret

When the event is defined as 3d, it means that it is positional in the game world and will subsequently be affected by falloff and other spatialization parameters. You can think of it as a flag for the programmer rather than a setting for previewing events from designer.
Try adding the Surround Pan effect to an event layer and see if that allows you to noodle around with previewing in 5.1. I hope this helps.

Thanks Adam, I was trying to use my pro tools card as the 5.1 output with designer but I don’t think it’s possible. Thanks again
