I’ve copied one of the .fdp examples to the directory where is located the program I wrote to use events (see reasons below).

I make some modification and when I try to save (or save as), it is impossible to re-use an existing file : not very pleasant to rename each time!
my directories and files are not write-protected … Any other idea ? or is it a bug ?

More generaly, I encoutered problems :
– when generating event file (.fev) at a given location and try to use it at a different location
– when using "Mapped Network drives" to access .fev and media files
[But I can not say for the moment which item is the true cause of my problems]

Thanks for help.

Are you trying to save to a network drive? What is the full path and filename of the file you’re tying to save?

Yes that’s right.
We are using mapped network drive, such as
"P:\Project\Workspaces\oroussel-dev1\Projects\Test\ProSndTst\media\examples\ examplesNew.fdp"

[P: is mapped to a Windows server directory]

Does it work if you save to a non-network drive?

Yes it does.

This was found to be due to a bug in the QT library which fmod designer relies on, we’ve worked around it for our next release.

Hi,

I’ve tested the latest version (1.09.04) and now it is working properly.

Thanks.
