Hi

I’m using FMOD 4.06.12 and Designer 1.07.09 and reverb is always applied to 2d events, regardless on their Reverb Wet Level

Hi, I’m having a similar problem on the Wii using FMOD 4.24.01 and Designer 4.21.01. Enabling reverb with EventSystem:setReverbProperties() causes 2d sounds to reverb even though their wet levels are set to 0. I’m trying to use Wii hardware only, so FMOD_INIT_SOFTWARE_DISABLE is set.

Hi,

This was actually fixed in version 4.24.01:

  • Event API – Fixed reverb still being audible when event wet level is -60 dB

Can you double check that you are using that version?

If so, can you link to the logging version of the libraries and let us know what the debug TTY says when you play the event in question?

Oh, it looks like a clean install of fmodapi42401wii-installer.exe doesn’t produce the event headers and libs, so the old 4.19 files are still being used for the event system. Can I get those separately?
