ANNOYING bugs, as it took me a while to figure out what was going on.
My DISTANCE parameter track will inherit the values of the primary parameter track (or the track above it) when I save my project. If I’m very careful, and not switch to another parameter track before saving the project, it sometimes will keep it’s values. But usually, the distance range changes to a value between 0 and 1, not very useful.
Also – it appears the sound event will ALWAYS try to use the "Distance" parameter if it exists, no matter what you set the MODE to. This seems a bug to me – even if I have a distance parameter defined, if I select 3D in the Event Mode, I expect it to play back in 3D and ignore the distance parameter track. ESPECIALLY since we can’t save plug-in chains and their associated envelops as a template to apply to individual layers – I really don’t want to have to delete that track and then rebuild it in order to A-B.

We use distance in 3d to bring change our 3d pan, bringing the sound to 2d when very close to the listerner. So, for us, not good to disable 😀
