As I understand it… Since the .NET framework is not fully integrated, each program instance must contain a copy of the assemblies used. You might get a smaller run-time size if you remove references to assemblies you do not use. Also, I’ve found that sometimes the run-time size reports a rather normal figure of 1-2MB. But most of the time, it usually runs 10MB+. (Bill must think memory grows on trees!)
