I updated our dlls/build to latest Stable of FMODEx/Event api, and am seeing alot of these errors in the fmod.log. If I revert back to an older build, then it doesn’t seem to show that information…

Now, I didn’t recompile our exe to based on the new libs, but not sure if that would actually effect that part. Sounds seem to work fine, but just curious why there are 1000s of the above errors

Do you have a repro for this?

I’ll look at trying to reproduce it with steps, although I’m not sure how easy it’ll be… Though I do know it is from our Music FSB/Event setup, as the stream max is set to 1 which looks to correlate there.

Was there any api changes on the sound bank side that might need to be looked at?

I’ve done some other things with latest API and haven’t ran into this issue. It only seems to happen with one bank of Music that was made with previous API.

I haven’t tried rebuilding the banks and such for it, as I don’t have the source easily accessible right now. It is a 40 meg fsb or I’d package it up for you to look at, since maybe theres something else going on.

I’ve noticed this only happens when the program is closing (in our case), and the engine should be shutting down, but obviously it just gets stuck in a loop and generates those errors

Okay, I guess I was wrong and I did reproduce it with new API.

It seems that as soon as I add a 3rd music file (for streaming), it will begin to give the instance errors on exit/shutdown.

I will PM you a location with files I’m working with

I updated to the April 26th build and am still seeing same issues, but it seems to be some issue with not closing down cleanly/properly.

As if I stop all of my audio (by some script commands), then it wont get stuck in a loop on exit. This would seem to mean that FMOD isn’t doing something it should when shutting down?

I was just checking in to see if anything had come of this issue or anything that we need to do, to work around it
