Hi all,

FMOD is awesome, the docs are awesome, and this forum is even awesomer. I have never had to post a topic because all my questions were already answered here.

Except for this one ๐Ÿ˜‰

Most EQ’s have 10 bands – I coded that part fine – but they also have a "PREAMP" bar the adjust all the whole spectrum at once.

Maybe it’s the lack of sleep talking, but I can’t figure out how to do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA!

Cant work out how to do the parameq? or the sliding of all to at once?

Just have 10 parameq filters, and loop through them all changing their amplitude values.

No, I completely get how the parameq works and how to create/adjust them.

I was just wondering how to create the preamp slider, like most audio players incorporate. I guess if all it is doing in actuality is adjusting all the levels, I could just loop through my parameq collection.

Thanks

Theoretically, you can create new parameq effect, place it before all your eq bands. set FMOD_DSP_PARAMEQ_CENTER to 22000/2 = 11000, and FMOD_DSP_PARAMEQ_BANDWIDTH to 5.0 (all octaves???). so FMOD_DSP_PARAMEQ_GAIN of this parameq = preamp.

This my modest opinion ๐Ÿ˜‰
