I was wondering if there is a function that allows for random panning.
I would like to be able to place head relative sounds in the game that randomly play from different locations.
Ideally, I would like to be able to specify:
– Panning randomization (deviation in % from its original position)
– Range (only front speakers, only rear speakers, full surround, etc.)

Not that I’m aware of. The way we do it is our sound designer marks the sound as Head Relative, and then I generate a random position about the origin every time I play the sound. Seems to work, but doesn’t leverage any fancy designer features.
