I am working with the soundmanager example and I get this error when building. Seems the mmsystem.h file contains that function name. Not sure how this occurred things were working quite well! Working with Ogre.

I am calling it like this:

m_SoundMgr->PlaySound(sndIndx,m_NodeDancer1, &m_AudioChanIndx);

Any help appreciated.

is m_SoundMgr even a pointer to an FMOD::System object?

Yes it is. Seems to be getting confused with mmsystem.h

Isn’t it FMOD::System::playSound()? (With a lowercase ‘p’)

Oh.. I’m sorry.. you guys are right.. I am using that sound manager example from fmod. Forgot all about it. Must be some mixup with my header files and namespaces and planetary alignment.

Apologies!

I probably don’t need anything as complex as that sound manager anyway for what I am doing right now. I will nix it for some simpler code just using the api. .
