We have several events where we want one seek speed for postive parameter changes and a different speed for negative parameter changes.

For example, in our car engine we’d like RPM increases to be slow (to give a sense of acceleration after the car has actually stoped increasing in speed), but for RPM decreases to be fast (so that the engine goes to idle after an impact with a brick wall).

Could be done code side using EventParameter::setSeekSpeed, wouldn’t be as easy to set up though, have to add some more data to store your desired seek speed values and do some checking in code to see whether parameter changes are positive or negative before they’re actually applied.

Yeah, I’ve already coded up a work around for the car, but we’re coming across a couple of other spots where it would be handy, so it’d be nice if it was a built in feature.
