i can´t compile my program under linux using fmod! basically, i just took the simple.exe sourcecode and tried to compile it.. this is what i get:

gcc -c -o ft ft.c -lfmod
In file included from ft.c:6:
/usr/include/fmod.h:50: parse error before *'
/usr/include/fmod.h:51: parse error before
*’
/usr/include/fmod.h:52: parse error before *'
/usr/include/fmod.h:476: parse error before
FSOUND_SetOutput’
/usr/include/fmod.h:476: warning: data definition has no type or storage class

blah and so on…
how do i get around this?

brett,

Why not simply include somethink like this in fmod.h, so that PLATFORM_LINUX gets detected automatically?

ifdef linux

define PLATFORM_LINUX 1

endi

/* Sesse */

I just downloaded the lastest version of fmod and I am having the same problem. But there is no define on the Makefile.

Any ideia?

Thanks
