Hi!

Is there any way to tell fmod to use the FileSystem-CallBacks in only some cases (streaming FileData from DB) and in some cases (any other) to use its own FileSystem?

i.e. Files are:

file://%PATH% => file://d:/Music/File.mp3 or d:\Music\File.mp3 => fmod shoud use its own
db://my-server/%ID% => db://my-server/543223452 => Custom CallBacks will do the work

First I thought to set the FileSystem and seperate it in the Open-CallBack.
How can i call the fmods own CallBacks if i don’t want to use my own?

I’m using vb.net 2005. Source i.e. C# will help me too.

Yes you could do this if you use FMOD_CREATESOUNDEXINFO ‘per sound’ callbacks instead of a global override. Just null those pointers out if it is file://, and set them to something if it is db://
Should work fine.

I’ll try it out!

But i’m sure that it will solve my problem.

Thank you!
