fmod seem to get instable and crash or throw a exception when scanning tags with getTag sometimes (Probably dependant on which file).
I have of course tried to find out if it is something in my code, but i’m quite sure it isn’t. I’m having this problem in windows, but just compiled up my software in linux to run it through valgrind, and i found a strange thing:
Source and destination overlap in memcpy (0x55DB070, 0x55DB071, 11) at 0x4022ED6 memcpy by 0x40DADF2 (FMOD::CodecTag::readID3v2())
It might not be related to the crash, but memmove would be better if overlap is expected behaviour.
I still haven’t been able to find exactly which files that cause the crashes, so this might be a loose end. (I’m unable to access the big music repository from my developing environment).
I got the same results with both 4.06.23 and 4.07.20. (both 32 bit)
ps. At the shutdown valgrind say "Conditional jump or move depends on unitialised value(s)". pthread_mutex_destroy… by FMOD_OS_CriticalSection_Free. Haven’t investigated if that’s my fault or fmods yet.
