I’ve written a windows mobile 2005 application that uses FMOD. I initialize FMOD and create a stream. Everything works fine until the the PocketPC turns off the screen to save memory. After that, no sounds work. Is there something I’m missing?

Ok, I’ve found that when the screen turns off, the sounds stop working. If I reinitialize fmod, the sounds come back. Is there a way to test the condition of fmod before trying to play a sound?

readmeCE.txt discusses some poweroff issues, but i just suggest if you can detect a poweron yourself (im pretty sure 2005 gives you this message) then you have to reinitialize fmod to get it to continue. We’ve tried to auto-resume internally, but the OS keeps doing something stupid to foil us when they release new updates or various hardware does something it shouldnt.
