Hello,

How can I seek to a specific position in a CD track?
I would like for example skip to 1:23 in track 3.

Thanks in advance,
Mikael Stalvik

There does not seem to be any FSOUND_CD_* functions to do that. Maybe in version 3.6, Brett?

I really need such a function, especially since I cannot successfully use MCI functions (which offers that functionality) together with FMOD.

Any hints?

No with FMOD you cannot do it. But If you want it that badly you can search at Torry’s ([url:1jm6vlzt]http://www.torry.net[/url:1jm6vlzt]) for one of the free components that it has for CD playback.
To tell the truth, I would wait for one of the forthcomming releases of FMOD. I like the idea of having everything under the same “roof” ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for the tip. I solved my problem yesterday, but implementing MCI CD playing support in my “wrapped” fmod class.. It works, but it would be nicer to have one API as you mentions.

Mikael
