Hello,

I’ve got an event sequence of four layers that have four sound defintions that essentially crossfade. They are set to respawn so to pick a random new wav file to playback which each spawn. The primary parameter has a range set 0 -> 1 with a 0.1 ruler spacing. Velocity is set to 0.5 and the loop behaviour is set to loop. The playback head does not move at all as though velocity is having no effect. I’ve tried various settings but nothing seems to work. This was working a few months ago, but not aynmore, and I have not changaed a thing. I’ve tried it with both Designer versions 1.7.21, and 1.7.15 with no luck. Any thoughts? I’m attempting to build a lot of physics driven, grain based audio objects.

Hi Gordon,
You don’t have any sustain points set in the primary parameter, do you? API version 4.07.14 (released with Designer version 1.07.14) fixed a bug that caused velocity parameters to sometimes skip over sustain points. If you have a sustain point at the start of the primary parameter, the cursor will stop there until you click the "Key Off" button.

Failing that, could you send your FDP to support@fmod.org so we can have a look at it?
