Are there any third party FMOD plugins available, and/or are there any third party developers willing and able to author new plugins for FMOD?
FMOD can use VST plugins, but (correct me if I’m wrong) VST plugins aren’t cross-platform. Are FMOD plugins cross-platform?
I’m asking this because I’m looking into the possibility of a new plugin for FMOD that’s not covered in the FMOD feature set, but our programmers don’t have time to look into FMOD plugin development (nor low-level DSP development in general), and I reckon the FMOD developers need to focus on FMOD itself more than plugins.

Hi Tick,
I’ve visited your website and was wondering if the plugins are coded using fmod?!
I’m wondering in particular if the Hexaline type of effect can be done in FMOD?
Best regards,
John

Captain,
They’re not related to fmod at all – they’re vst.
I’ve looked at the fmod code for plugins, it’s quite similar to vst – so porting my plugins to fmod should not be too hard.
This said, I think I read somewhere in the fmod doc that vst was supported natively – I’m not sure how this works, though.

The problem is there was no central place for people to submit plugins, now that we have a new website design we can probably put a section up for plugin downloads

It would be awesome if your website had that area. I’m writing some plugins I could share (mainly DSP filters)

Skaven (what an honour to meet you here btw),
I can probably help with FMOD (or any other kind of audio) plugins.
See my site below for some of my stuff.
Have fun,
‘Tick
