a1psx, I’m assuming you’re talking about the ‘heading’ parameter, which probably won’t do what jocorok wants, as it gives the angle from the listener to the sound, rather than from the sound to the listener (i.e. the orientation of the sound has no effect).
To apply an effect to a cone, your game engine would currently need to calculate the angle from the sound to the listener and update a parameter appropriately. However, we are looking into providing this as an automatic parameter called ‘(cone angle)’.
