Back in 2006 when the first beta of Windows XNA Game Studio Express came out there was some discussion about XNA and will FMOD be available for it. Now the full XNA Express is out – supporting Xbox 360 – and I was wondering what is the final world – will FMOD XNA ever happen?

Ok just to update this, the only way we can support XNA is if XAudio allows users to play arbitrary byte data which it can’t (you have to use XACT). This means we can’t do anything for XNA until they release an API that does this (i think XAudio 2 for XNA).
I appreciate that this is an old post but are there any plans for FMOD and XNA given the release of XNA GS3.0 and the launch of Community Games for XBox 360.
I’ve used FMOD in the past for my handheld work and I would certainly use it for my XNA games.
