I’m using FMOD Ex 4.08 and FMOD Designer 1.09. When I load event data into memory, using the EventGroup::loadEventData(), I get a FMOD_RESULT of FMOD_ERR_FORMAT. I am using two soundbanks, one decompresses into memory (all 16-bit stereo WAV) and the other soundbank holds streamed mp3. I set the bank I wish to stream sounds from to use MP3 compression at Compression Quality 50.

Any clue what’s going on here?

Did you manage to get this sorted? I think we had a similar thing going on, not quite sure what happened, whether we merged wrong or a bad version was released but we thought we’d taken 4.08.03 code and ended up with something that was a mixture of 4.08.01, .02 and .03 possibly? Anyway the basic problem was that it couldn’t open .fsb files which began with the header "FSB4", which is what the current designer exports. It’s possible you have also just ended up with latest code and have some .fsb files that begin with "FSB2", which are no longer supported I don’t think.

We had something like that.
It has disappeared after using the last version (4.08.04 and designer associated) and cleaning all files (.seq, …) in the build directory, and build again the .fev file
