What is the reason why we can’t use ‘Load into memory’ with multi-channel sounds? I thought a few of the decoding methods supported multi-channel sounds.

channels are optimized for mono and stereo playback, otherwise the overhead for channel memory would be huge if it had to cope with 6 or 8 or 16 channel sounds by default. We might be looking at a method that uses multiple channels to support it but thats why.
