Hi

I’m a Delphi user.

I wanna know if is possible to save the result of two or more mp3 files mixed (various channels) to a mp3 file. (and how to do this)

Does anybody have a m3u reader unit to share? I know that this is not so difficult to built, but…. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The only way with FMOD would be to use a DSP unit to save out the waveform and then through some magic use a MP3 encoder to convert the waveform to the MP3 file.

And then search for “Audio Compression Manager” in the Windows SDK help found in Delphi. There you can find information on how to encode a file using an already installed codec of your system (eg. FhG). Just select the codec you want (MP3 codec has the serial number 81 in all systems), select the quality and pass the file as a pointer. You can do it on the fly if you want, but you have to try more.
Another option would be to use a dll mp3 codec like LAME. Just download the dll and its source and use it directly (without ACM calls). LAME ([url:2fwcgafd]http://www.mp3dev.org[/url:2fwcgafd]) is free software so you may redistribute it with your program.
