I’ve tried using Event::setPropertyByIndex to override the min/max distances and cone angles on event instances, but when I use getPropertyByIndex to check the values, they show that they’re still set to the original values set in Designer.

I’ve tried changing the properties before starting the event and after starting it; makes no difference. I’ve made sure the "this_instance" argument is True.

Are there restrictions setting these properties at runtime? Are there any special settings we need to make in Designer to allow the values to be overridden at game-time?

Using FMOD Designer build from Oct 12, 2007.

I’m fairly sure that issue was fixed in a more recent version. When you said designer version I assume you mean programmer api?

I got that version date from the Designer’s About Box. The FMOD_Event.dll we’re using has a file version of 0.4.8.7.
It is encouraging to here that this might be fixed in a more recent version; I’ll see if I can work in an update.
