We’re doing sound cleanups when people disconnect from a Server, but it doesn’t seem that the Sound releasing is happening.

It does get called, but it seems like its never trully released. Is there something I need to make sure I am doing before or after the sound is released?

You said it seems like it is never released but that’s not much info to go on.
Do you mean the sound keeps playing, or there is a memory leak? Sound release is pretty much an ancient function and all you have to do is call Sound::release.

Ah, Well it seems like a memory leak, Memory_GetStats continues to return the same values, as if we never released the sounds.

For the most part, its not a huge memory difference for us, so I just killed the portion of our code that we put in, and have made changes elsewhere to semi-compensate.

Are you sure you’re not just looking at ‘maximum’ mistakenly thing it is the ‘current’ memory value? Maximum is not supposed to go down, only up.
