Hi,

Complete noob so forgive me if this is a stoopid question. Is there any way I can control Fmod from Max/MSP? I am doing a project mainly based in max/msp but would like to use a ‘real world’ audio game engine to provide the sounds.

Cheers

Andy

While I haven’t tested it, your best bet is running MAX/MSP as a VST effect. The would allow you to use Max as a filter or effect placed on the samples stored in FMOD. As FMOD supports VST plugins, it should work.

Unfortunately I don’t have a copy of Max here, so I cannot test it for you.

Good Luck!

cheers,
Templar
