I’m making an ambient sound mixer/player with FMOD, works great, but now I think I’d like to let the user output his mix to a WAV file. Is this possible through FMOD? And if so, is it cross-platform-able?

The only 2 record examples in the fmod sdk -both- record to a .wav file, i’d suggest you look at them.

Yes, I had looked before, but to be honest I’m a bit new at this and it confused me somewhat. How do I tell it to record what is currently playing on my system? In my program, I create streams and have software rendering enabled.

FMOD doesn’t capture what the windows (or whatever) operating system is doing, it records from a microphone, and loads and plays sounds you tell it to.
If your soundcard supports it, change your recording device from the microphone to ‘what u hear’ or something similar to this.
