Using the interactive music tutorial in the userguide, I’ve set up a cool interactive music demo. My loops are all PCM (WAV) and loop and sync perfectly in Sound Forge. When I test them in Designer, I always get a gap in between sound definitions – my perfect transitions are nowhere to be heard, so to speak.

Is this a simple bug in Designer, or is this expected behavior? Does it change when the event is actually played ‘in engine’ vs. in the Designer auditioning?

That is a stop gap until our new interactive music screen comes with seamless transitions and sample accurate timing/beat matched flourishes etc.
We are aiming for this to be released at GDC.
