Looks like another bug in your IT playback effects… I think you fixed my other problem, though… good work! I still haven’t bought an FMod license yet, but it’s not because I don’t want to… I’m just a lazy bum with no cash. 😕

Thanks again for the great library, keep up the great work Brett!

Edit: Eeek! I downloaded FMod 3.6… the old bug is still there, and it’s actually worse. I’ll upload a recording in a few minutes.

A recording of what FMod 3.6 does when presented with my old IT file… the bug is different, but it seems to be worse, at least the way I hear it. From a coding/internal perspective it’s probably better, because the volume levels are better now instead of all wacky like before. As always, the actual IT is included in the zip so you can test it in various players.

Excellent, now all that remains is the volume level oddity in Darksky.it… perhaps you can look into that? It uses a sequence of volume levels, and it plays fine in Winamp and Modplug, but FMod plays the volume changes incorrectly. Upbeat.it plays perfectly now, so that same bi-di bug must have been affecting both tracks. (Darksky is in the first test RAR). Once again, I’m impressed with how well FMod works at such a small size. It’s the smallest audio library I’ve ever used and it packs a lot of features. It’ll be hard to convince me to ever use anything else.
