i really dont know what i’m missing, but i cannot make reverbs (sphere based, EventReverb) affect 2d events. on 3d events it works ok (tested with toggling mode 2d/3d through network audition), the min/max distance for reverbs also works.

i’m using force software mode on wave bank.

fmod: 41303

any ideas?

Do they work inside the Designer? (I’ve just tested one here, and it works using a reverb generated in the reverb tab)

Is the event wet reverb level set correctly?

yeah, they work in designer (using standard bathroom reverb), and wet level is set to max 100%. like said, if i toggle mode between 2d/3d in realtime, the reverb kicks in on 3d mode.

EventReverbs are 3D positional reverb, 2D events don’t have a location so they are not affected by a 3D reverb. You can audition the reverb in designer because the designer reverbs are presets, they haven’t been applied to a 3D word yet.

you have to use a global reverb, not 3d positional reverb, to make reverb work on a 2d event.
