Hi guys,

I’m writing a program that plays, records and burns audio. I’ve got the playing functions down and the recording records to .wav files.

What I really need help on is encoding the audio to mp3 in real time… At the moment I’m basically using a hi-jacked version of the ‘recordtodisk’ example included with FMOD.

Does anyone have some fully working source code they’d be willing to share, or point me in the right direction… or maybe I could alter my code atm ( everyone with FMOD has the code I’m working with ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I’ve trying a [i:1vz0r9i6]lot[/i:1vz0r9i6] of searches…

Thanks for the help!

Cheers,
Sam

Have a look at the output_mp3 example in the FMOD install directory under examples\plugin_dev

Oh ok… I had a squiz, but it’s in C++, how do I implement that into my C# code? ๐Ÿ˜•

Translating it shouldn’t be that difficult; the syntaxes of the two languages are very similar.

Actually, because the output plugins need to be native .dlls, you can’t use c# to write them. You need to use c++/c.
