When I create a new FDP and view it in an ASCII viewer, there are references to the ‘car’ example provided with FMOD…

is this by design?

Hi,
I think you’re talking about this section:
[code:1y8bxoxs]
<car_rpm>0</car_rpm>
<car_rpmsmooth>0.075</car_rpmsmooth>
<car_loadsmooth>0.05</car_loadsmooth>
<car_loadscale>6</car_loadscale>
<car_dialog>0</car_dialog>
[/code:1y8bxoxs]
These are not references to the ‘car’ example provided with FMOD. They are just values to control the behaviour of the FMOD Engine Designer tool in FMOD Designer. They are there by design.

Regards,
Ben

Yup – that’s them. I didn’t realize the Car/Engine designer was a built-in system. I thought it only existed in the example FDP. Thanks – and sorry for the false alarm. :)
