It crashes when you set parameter’s max value big and ruler spacing small. Like, 4000 and default 0.1 correspondingly.
I know it’s my fault not to notice this ๐Ÿ˜‰ but it’d be nice to have a warning or like on parameter properties dialog closing.

I haven’t been able to reproduce this, even with stupidly large numbers. Could you send the project that crashes when you do this to support@fmod.org so we can check it out? Also, what platform are you on?

Thanks,
Ben

Let me describe what i’m doing.

  1. Create a few sound defs
  2. Add an event
  3. Add a parameter to the event
  4. Set parameter’s max value limit to 4000
  5. Close the params dialog box
  6. Add a sound instance to the event layer
  7. Try to move the instance in the layer
  8. After 2nd try it hangs.

It doesn’t seem that the problem is in project since I create one from scratch.

UPD: I’m on Win32. :-)

Ok, thanks for that, I’ve reproduced it now. I’ll let you know when we have a fix.

This is now fixed. The fix will be in our next release.

Thanks,
